STRENGTH WITH INTENTION | MOVEMENT WITH PURPOSE
ABOUT ME
Over the years, I’ve explored many different movement modalities in pursuit of feeling good in my body. Strength training, functional fitness, dance, yoga and pilates to name a few. All of them creating this life-long pursuit of feeling good in my body.
Six years ago, becoming a yoga teacher, to put it lightly changed my life. It shifted my perspective on cultivating a lifestyle of movement and healthy habits. It’s a practice that has developed a deep sense of awareness and presence of how my body and mind show up and connect - together and to the world around me. And at the core of it all was borne a heartfelt desire to share the gift of movement and knowledge-sharing with others. Also, feeling strong, confident, and empowered - especially in gym spaces, was something I wanted others to experience too.
Joining the Crossfit community has further transformed my approach to functional movement. It is a space where I have learned to move more efficiently, dramatically increase my strength, found inspiring, like-minded people, and develop a deeper sense of purpose around my training, nutrition, and lifestyle. My background in yoga and mobility has complemented this perfectly and has helped me train smarter, move better, and stay injury-free.
With a background as a certified personal trainer, yoga teacher, reformer Pilates instructor, embodied movement practitioner, and Yoga Nidra facilitator, I bring a depth of mobility and nervous system awareness that complements strength training beautifully.
Alongside this, my experience competing in CrossFit at both recreational and national levels has shaped my belief in the transformative power of strength, especially for women in all stages of life. Strength training is not just about physical capacity; it builds confidence, mental resilience, and energy.
The Good Move coaching style is about knowing when to push, when to soften, and how strength and mobility work best together. Not in opposition, but in balance.
Blending the best of multiple disciplines: functional strength training, conditioning, and the grounding elements of yoga, Pilates, and mobility work, this integrated approach allows me to offer something truly holistic. At its core, The Good Move is about empowerment through movement. I want exercise to feel less like a task and more like a lifestyle—one that evolves, adapts, and supports you through every season.
